A user group run by the people who run the product

Founded in 2022, the Cloud WMS SIG is a nonprofit user group for Oracle Fusion Cloud Warehouse Management, run by a volunteer board of the people who use it.

Our mission

To provide users and customers with a forum for sharing information and experiences on the selection, implementation, and effective deployment of Oracle Fusion Cloud Warehouse Management.

In practice that means honest conversations between people doing the same job in different warehouses. What the implementation actually cost. Which integration pattern held up. What the release notes did not tell you until you were live.

Governance

How the group is run

The SIG sets its own direction and runs its own programme. OATUG, the Oracle Applications and Technology Users Group, hosts the community platform we use for membership, the member forum, the document library and event registration — so we can spend our energy on content rather than on running infrastructure.

The board sets direction

The group is self-directed. Volunteers from customer organisations, consulting partners and Oracle plan the session calendar and the conference tracks, and keep it running.

OATUG hosts the platform

Membership, the discussion forum, the document library and conference registration run on the OATUG community platform, which saves the group building and maintaining its own.
